Rap-Up.com || Nicki Minaj and Rihanna to Shoot ‘Fly’ Video

Nicki Minaj and Rihanna are ready to spread their wings and “Fly.” The ladies are scheduled to shoot a video for their collaboration off the Young Money rapper’s platinum-certified debut Pink Friday, with Sanaa Hamri in the director’s chair. Hamri has helmed videos for Mariah Carey, Prince, and B.o.B.

The Harajuku Barbie has been steady on the video grind, most recently shooting a clip for “Moment 4 Life” with her Young Money cohort Drake. Already, Nicki has released visuals for “Your Love,” “Check It Out,” and “Right Thru Me,” where she flexed her acting chops.

Rihanna sings the chorus and that’s it nicki raps of gaining strength to fly(move above) all obstacles. Nicki slayed the song and Rihanna helped commit the homicide. Both girls rocked. Rihanna broke records yes and she is a boss chick(queen idk) but she has the talent to become an icon like Janet or Mary or the Queen of Pop(all diff like Ri). Nicki broke a bunch of records in a genre that was dead she revived it. She’s a boss. Don’t break them down because they are amazing in their own right. #StepsDownFromBox

Lmao Im sorry gotta laugh at Rihanna being the best part of the song when she only sang that chorus. Get real. If u think about it Nicki could have handled that chorus on her own. I honestly think another singer could have did the song more justice such as mary J blige or alicia keys beyonce.

I hate how she added no soul into it. It sounded like her vocals were copy and pasted. She didnt adlib, add variations or nothing. Talk about a lazy singer.
