Drake and J. Cole: Live in London![]() Drake descended on the U.K. for his first of two shows with J. Cole at London’s Hammersmith Apollo last night. Clad in a black T-shirt, camouflage cargo pants, and Jordans, October’s Very Own ran through his staples “Over,” “Best I Ever Had,” and his latest hit with Rihanna, “What’s My Name?” But before Drizzy hit the stage, his fellow MC J. Cole warmed up the crowd with his mixtape material and single “Who Dat.” Despite people trying to pit them against one another, the rap peers have remained cool. “There was always a J. Cole vs. Drake pit and I kinda just let that go on, but we were always communicating and building the relationship,” Cole told Rap-Up.com. Watch some fan-filmed footage from the concert below.

So I went last night and i missed J Cole’s performance which I am still bitterly disappointed about.
I did manage to see all of Drakes though, and I was left disappointed. The concert was alright at best, but I had such great hopes.
The positives were his live band, the staging and he sounds very good live when rapping.
The negatives though are he talks way too much, he’s very corny, you don’t even want to know about the Drizzy 3-stoke (Oh boy SMH!) overly appreciated the ladies in comparison to the guys, this was not an r&b concert, yet it felt like it was. If he had a great singing voice then I think he would just concentrate on singing alone. 3 out of 5 I would say. Alright concert at best.
