Drake and J. Cole: Live in London

  /  01.08.2011

Drake

Drake descended on the U.K. for his first of two shows with J. Cole at London’s Hammersmith Apollo last night. Clad in a black T-shirt, camouflage cargo pants, and Jordans, October’s Very Own ran through his staples “Over,” “Best I Ever Had,” and his latest hit with Rihanna, “What’s My Name?” But before Drizzy hit the stage, his fellow MC J. Cole warmed up the crowd with his mixtape material and single “Who Dat.”

Despite people trying to pit them against one another, the rap peers have remained cool. “There was always a J. Cole vs. Drake pit and I kinda just let that go on, but we were always communicating and building the relationship,” Cole told staging-rapup.kinsta.cloud.
