Rap-Up.com || Nicki Minaj’s Most Badass Shoot to Date

Nicki Minaj is busting out on the cover of V Magazine‘s Spring 2011 Discovery Issue, on sale this week. The rap diva, outfitted in a patterned green Versace dress, dons tribal body paint on one of two covers photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin. Inside, the Harajuku Barbie plays dress up in an Emilio Pucci swimsuit over Calvin Klein briefs and a red leather jacket covered in spikes and safety pins.

“I just always want to do ‘me,’ but ‘me’ changes every day,” says the colorful star, known for her various alter-egos. “I would crumple up and die if I had to wake up and be the same person every day. I don’t silence those voice anymore. I just let them speak.”

the only way to make her fat legs look good is to incorporate them into the styling>
body paint is in trend, also the keith harring graphics
( madonna did in the 1985 like a virgin tour)this here , rihanna lame attempt from rude boy etc is all a remake.
the styling is on point though
the artist is not!
what did she do? what except marketing and money?
i would love this to be the cover of the forbes…yeah…that would make sense cause it seems like she is making cash.
so , i will sit down until her 15 minutes of fame is over…lets see if any of these chicks have the longevity of a madonna, a cher, a streisand or the fierceness of a naomi, a watley or the talent of a lil kim, salt & pepa, lyte or latifah…

Don’t y’all get tired of arguing over the SAME STUFF EVERY DAY? But on her situation: overexposure much? People are fickle and will tire of you when the next thing comes along. I don’t care anyway, but still.

Anyway, some I like, some I don’t – the facial expressions are extra and even if it’s part of her gimmick it just looks ridiculous and takes away from her look, which she IS cashing in on. She should model instead – I’d love to see a full-on revolution in fashion/modeling of very curvy girls (not “thick” a.k.a. fat).
