« New Music: Jennifer Hudson – ‘Where You At’ [Snippet]Lil Wayne Puts Up a Fight in ‘6 Foot 7 Foot’ Video »Tracklisting: Marsha Ambrosius – ‘Late Nights & Early Mornings’![]() Following the release of her stirring video for “Far Away,” Marsha Ambrosius is ready to unleash her debut solo album Late Nights & Early Mornings. The former Floetry member has set a March 1 release for the effort, boasting collaborations with Alicia Keys, Dre & Vidal, Just Blaze, and more. The 12-track set, inspired by Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder, has already spawned the single “Hope She Cheats on You (With a Basketball Player),” and will show a more aggressive side to the soulstress. “My pen and my point of view has a certain aggression to it because I’ve listened to a lot of male-influenced music, which I think makes me one of the most outspoken writers out here,” said Marsha. “Sometimes as a woman you don’t wanna say what’s on your mind for fear of being judged. But why wouldn’t I say it like that if that’s how I felt?” Peep the official tracklisting below per J Records.

i love Masha. beautiful spirit. but it’s like she has the “Ciara Syndrome” – where she looks more beautiful than ever, but nobody is checking for her or her new music. so sad. i think the album will get pushed back again. peter edge needs to get it together!

Marsha is way talented and beautiful. She has the potential to be a legendary soul vocalist. It’s sad that she probably will never really sell a lot of albums…unless she starts doing what ALL of your favorite relevant “artists” are so skilled at: CREATING CATCHY RINGTONES!
I bet you a hundred bucks that the reason that this album is taking forever to come out is that her label is still trying to convince her to go in the studio with Stargate/RedOne/TheDream/Bangladesh/Sean Garrett and craft some TOTALLY meaningful…personal…….art.
Marsha keep doing your thing. I LOVE both singles and will definitely be purchasing your album

I. Can. No.WAIT! This is the music we need, genuine art from the artist themselves, not commercialized, over processed or lacking in musical nutrients lol.

I definitely support Marsha Ambrosius! I like her music and her style. She’s a breath of fresh air. I don’t knock any artist expressing themselves so I won’t knock the current ones on the charts but I need more like Ms. Ambrosius to help balance out the scales. Just dope. She’s gonna make 2011 for me.

Marsha really is stunningly gorgeous & especially those beautiful eyes of hers! Can’t wait for the album though it’s a long time coming that should be 1 of the best albums of the year but will probably get overlooked like how Toni Braxton’s album did last year because of how genuine it will be & not as commercialized!
