You may not know the name yet, but Skylar Grey is quickly becoming one of music’s most deadly secret weapons. As the first signee to producer Alex Da Kid’s Wonderland Music imprint, the Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter has contributed to records for Eminem and Rihanna (“Love the Way You Lie”), T.I. and Christina Aguilera (“Castle Walls”), Diddy-Dirty Money (“Coming Home”), and Dr. Dre and Eminem (“I Need a Doctor”).

The Wisconsin native, born Holly Brook Hafferman, has done a good job of keeping herself hidden. But we’ve finally been able to match a face to the name. Meet the woman behind the hits below.

She’s also gonna be on one of Lupe’s upcoming singles, or on one of his song’s on Lasers. Not sure which thou. She has a lot under her belt though. Really talented

skylar grey is talented and great looking. One thing that is not mentioned she has also worked with Linkin Parks Mike S. on the Fort Miner project Where’d You Go. And she also has a solo album called Like Blood, Like Honey. She is also known by another name Holly Brook. or Her GHOST name Skylar Grey.

Skylar Grey is definitely a cooler and more marketable name. Holly Brook sounds like a country singer name to me lol! But I had been wondering what she looked like, and she seems hot from that one image. But I love all the hooks she’s penned/sung so far, especially Coming Home & Castle Walls. Can’t wait 2 hear this single with Lupe, it’s gonna be crazy! Wonder what her solo work is going to sound like?

A phenomenal performance by all 4 at the grammy’s Her vocals were outstanding along with Rihanna together with the words of the two greatest urban poets to ever live – Eminen and Dr Dre. This was a historic performance.
