Whack. The colours in the video are nice, and the concept is not so bad but the director made it slightly boring, only Rihanna fans can like this. It’s basically a ‘look how beautiful I am and even though I can’t sing, can’t write, can’t dance, can hardly perform, I will make you like my song’ type of video.

I would be lying if I said this video wasn’t enticing. I love the visuals and Rihanna’s is at the point in her career where she can basically do whatever the hell she wants. After 9 #1′s (this song will more than likely be her 10th) there is really no stopping her. On the other hand though, think of how many young female fans she has who are going to watch this…not the greatest message but the video certainly fits the concept of the song.

Yes it was a little risk , because she released Russian Roulette first and I was like ” Oh great, she’s changing” but the next singles were not that successful (Hard, Rockstar and Te amo) and consequently she came back to what she always did, something more “entertaining” with rude boy.

so I regret that she contents herself with a serie of singles for the club now like Kesha does
At the end of the day, her albums are not CLASSIC (Rated R just 2 M in the world, for the superstar that she is it is surprising…)

I agree with Lol, most of her songs are pretty meaningless and have bad lyrics.

What I was getting at basically is that people eat up this “sex kitten” but push MEANINGFUL artists like Brandy, Jazmine Sullivan, Melanie Fiona to the side. If talent prevailed, these three ladies would be ruling the music industry and no one would even give Rihanna, Ke$ha, Britney Spears or Taylor Swift the time of day. This is how the music industry SHOULD be (the talented prevailing over the not so talented who just sell sex and partying)…too bad it’s so corrupt.
