« Video: Eminem’s Lipton Brisk Super Bowl CommercialVideo: Eminem’s Chrysler Super Bowl Commercial »Video: Black Eyed Peas, Usher Perform at Super Bowl XLV Halftime Show![]() The Black Eyed Peas lit up Cowboys Stadium for the Bridgestone Super Bowl XLV Halftime Show in Dallas, Texas, on Super Bowl Sunday. Will.i.am, Fergie, Taboo, and apl.de.ap performed an electrifying medley of their hits including “I Gotta Feeling,” “Boom Boom Pow,” “Pump It,” “Let’s Get It Started,” “Where Is the Love?” and “The Time (Dirty Bit).” Fergie, rocking shimmering shoulder pads, was joined by former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash on “Sweet Child o’ Mine” and Usher busted a move with will on their smash “OMG.” “I played 1mil people in brazil, the world cup for 1bil. And I’m so nervous for the superbowl. ‘I feel like crying’ this is so special for us,” tweeted a humbled will.i.am. Relive the magical moment right here.

That was a horrible act! You need that raw connection..not a bunch of lit up martians with tv’s on thier heads to make up for the lack of talent. Bring back Mick Jagger, Prince (he STILL looks amazing), Gwen Stefani (now that’s raw energy) or Sting. What has happened to America and rock-n-roll?

ushers’s DANCING was the only thing that saved this performance for me,,, and the lights were killer!!,, other than that…
eh…

It looked to me like the GREEN lights were in favor of the Green Bay Packers. Also, some of the illuminated people in circular form in both white and green resembled the letter “G” not sure if they goofed, did this unintentionally , subconsciously or what. My son noticed it too…”subliminal?

Why would Slash take part in this sad excuse for a superbowl half time show? The economy must be bad if this is the best we could do. Boo.

STINKO!!. OMG, dirty, nasty ca-cas!! I feel sorry for people with REAL talent out there who’ll never get a break & people like this can perform at the Super Bowl. God Bless America.

I agree with you completely shanni. And they call themselves entertainers? Bahahaha. I also agree with wake up america’s comment. a bunch of lit up martians. Very true. Then we have Christina Aguilara screwing up the national anthem. So disrespectful.

Okay, it is officially time to let the autotune GO! That was HORRIBLE!! I’m so sorry T-pain and Lady Gaga’s poker face promoted this robotic movement. I’ve had it.

Agree with all the above, vocals were way off. Usher was great, wish there had been more of him and less of B.E.P. Fergie who I usually like really killed (in a bad way) them for me. I do feel that Slash was a bit of a let down by throwing himself in with that crap *sighs*.

That wasn’t the best performance by the BEP, or the worst. I know that whole thing took a lot of effort and time; not sure who to blame this time.

Any of you that didn’t like that show seriously need to be hogtied and made to force watch some of the other not as even close as good shows from the previous superbowls. That really was an amazing show and it’s shows like that that get people out of their seats and moving. Blimey freakin idiots.

Ontop of that Usher said like 2 things and all he did was dance. Watch his mouth he hardly ever sings. Hell it probably wasn’t even him just a stand in look alike.

Usher lip synched the whole thing

February 6th, 2011 at 9:07 pm
Heck I’m not even a BEP or Usher fan, and I didn’t think it was so bad. But why bring in Slash and that tired GNR song? Lip-syncing? Well duh people, they’re dancing all over the place on a football field, don’t be so dis-illusioned to not expect that.

I liked them both Ush ,BEP and Slash too.if you didn’t like it all you had to do was change the channel and go back when it was done.. it was better than the WHO…just saying.

The only one i liked was Slash. Slash is a legend i love him. Some people dont know nothing about music. Cant believe they prefer BEP and Usher over his performance. I xpected much more of Usher vocally.I noticed also that great performances by black artists are fading. It seems they dont wont to be great anymore but just make hits and be populair. They dont want to leave their signature behind like Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Prince, Tina Turner, James Brown, Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, Earth, Wind and Fire, Donna Summer (underrated) but still the queen of Disco. In my opinion their’s only one person that wants to be great like the generation before and yall know her name.
