Lil Wayne

Mark your calendars. Lil Wayne is stepping back onto the screen in the video for “6 Foot 7 Foot,” plus his first live chat since serving time at Rikers Island.

The Hype Williams-directed clip will make its debut on MTV this Thursday, February 10, at 8 p.m. EST. Shot in Miami last month, the vid comes ahead of the spring release of Tha Carter IV. The album is set to feature production from Swizz Beatz and Detail, as well as guest appearances from his Young Money cohorts Drake and Nicki Minaj.

Photos from the set were posted online showing Weezy as a boxer in what appear to be scenes inspired by the Oscar-nominated film The Fighter. “Once people see ‘6 Foot 7 Foot,’ I guarantee that it’s going to be a game changer,” Wayne affiliate DJ Scoob Doo told MTV.

Following its premiere, the YMCMB rapper will sit down with MTV News’ Sway for his first live post-jail interview. During the broadcast, fans will get a behind-the-scenes look at the video and he will answer questions submitted via Twitter.
