Rap-Up.com || New Music: Kelly Rowland f/ Lil Wayne

Kelly Rowland links with Lil Wayne on “Motivation,” the Jim Jonsin and Rico Love-produced single from her oft-delayed third solo album. Over a sexy, synth-saturated beat, the former Destiny’s Child diva commands her beau to put his hands all over her.

“Go longer, you can last more rounds/ Much harder, you’re almost there now/ So go lover, make mama proud,” coos Kelly, throwing it to her labelmate Weezy, who raps about getting a taste of some sugar.

Listen to their sizzling collabo below and look out for the video early next month, along with the Diplo remix.

While this song is decent, I think “Hangover” would have been a better choice as Kelly hasn’t received much love lately from R&B radio so why not give Top 40 and/or Rhythmic radio a shot with something uptempo?
