@SPEECHLESS, Obviously you’re one of those people that if it isn’t happening to you then you don’t care. Who cares about your idiotic arguments now? If anything, the truth is that you NEVER know which breath will be your last. Don’t use a legitimate tragedy to start another argument, fool.

    [Reply]

@From Tokyo, At what part did I say something like I didnt care if it wasnt happening to me? just itching to start an argument that you know you’re not fit for. next time try to come at me with no spelling errors okay? its “strategy” not tragedy. go back to repeating the 4th grade.

I’m over here now – I live near Tokyo Bay and it is so scary!!!!! I was literally standing at the door to go out when it started. And there have been over 100 aftershock earthquakes. If I had been at work I would have been on the 19th floor. I just wish it would stop! And I feel so bad for people on the coast, especially in the heavily-impacted areas like Miyagi. When the phones went out and I scrambling trying to reach someone. Thank goodness for Facebook. My family wants me home right away.

@Jojoluver23, Thank you for your support! I got people praying hard for us and I appreciate it. I’m “used” to earthquakes but this was something new/different to us all. The aftershocks are still happening (the room moving as I type) and I just pray that it will calm down. My prayers to the family of the people who have been lost!

Thank you so much for your concern. I felt very strong quakes yesterday even in a Tokyo suburb. I’m safe and all my family’s ok. But what happened to our country is so devastating. Rescues can’t reach to the tsunami victims because the land is too muddy or under water. Too shocking and sad. Thanks for your pray. We will overcome and stand up. That’s what we can do to show our gratitudes to the world and people who worry us. Thank you.

I also live in Tokyo. generally things here fine. there wasnt really any damage, just a few fires etc. all the real damage is further north. but now people here are panicking a bit and buying everything in the supermarkets and convenience stores in case theres a blackout. lets hope that doesnt happen, i wont be able to check rap up for entertainment!

    [Reply]

    From Tokyo Reply:

@J McG, I’m hoping the power doesn’t go out here, either, nor the water. When I went to the conbini earlier all the bento were gone but there was a lot of other food left. I’m in a more residential area so that’s probably why. I’m worried about the nuclear power plant. The news just gets worse.

    [Reply]

    J McG Reply:

@From Tokyo, yeah everyones talking about the possibility of a blackout, but i dont know on what info people are basing this prediction. yeah, like everyone else i went to the conbini and bought the last remaining sarada and nabe, but really i think everything is fine. things here in suginami-ku are pretty peaceful, no one seems to be freaking out too much! hope youre ok!

    [Reply]

    From Tokyo Reply:

@J McG, I have to go to the supermarket tomorrow and search (I didn’t today for some inexplicable reason) – hopefully it isn’t cleaned out. I hope you’re right about everything being alright – life in Ichikawa where I live goes on as normal. It’s unnerving feeling the earth constantly moving, though. Xo. Thanks for your well-wishes – glad you’re okay!

Instead of worrying about and writing ignorance about what celebrities wrote; how about you do something to help the victims in Japan, Hawaii, and any other place that were devastated. It doesn’t matter if they are posting for publicity, it they re-tweeted a message, or if they are trying to sell something; it matters that they spoke of it. It would be great if every one did something along with saying something.

My prayers go out to the people in Japan and that they remember God is with them. It’s good that celebrities are sending out their thoughts, but they have all them money why aren’t they helping. It just reminds me how greedy they are that’s sad only one celebrity made a difference(Michael Jackson). If I had the money I would send prayers and do more out of my own pocket.

I just wanted to say that the horrific incidents that took place in Japan, and the other affected areas saddens my soul. We need to come together and keep these people in our prayers as much as we think about what were having for lunch or dinner. Please keep Japan in your prayers and pray for the missing that they will be found alright. I never knew the people of Japan, but I love them and they and everyone else will remain in my heart.
