Hip-hop took a moment of silence to remember Nate Dogg following the sudden news of his passing. Twitter timelines were filled with condolences, prayers, cherished memories, and lyrics from the West Coast pioneer. Everyone from his childhood friend Snoop Dogg to his “21 Questions” collaborator 50 Cent to Drake and Trey Songz paid their respects to the fallen G-Funk legend. @From Canada, Long before there was a T-pain, or a Akon, there was a voice that could be heard with hevy rotation, on every station, across the nation. Nate Dogg was the T-Pain of his era. Although not as sucessful on his own solo projects, it was garanteed that if you put this mans voice on your tracks, it was gonna blow up. As time goes on, it will dawn on people as to how many songs this man was actualy on. The whole LBC is gonna party tonight. I got dis call yes’day, from mah home boi, telling me dat Nate Dogg just hit d bricks, I told him 2 quit dat $h!t, but I later discovered it was real… Wat a life (Every minute of it counts) and he really utilized his. I wonder how Warren G feels or wat he’ll be saying or is it Dre who featured Nate in all his album.
