Rap-Up.com || Keri Hilson to Shoot Video with Nelly

Keri Hilson unleashed her inner animal last night at Paper magazine’s 2011 Beautiful People Party. The sexy singer, who performed during the Hollywood event, hit the red carpet in an ’80s-inspired outfit, wearing a leopard-print jacket over a bra, tight pants, and a red belt tied around her waist.

The songstress is gearing up to film the video for her Stargate-produced single “Lose Control” with Nelly off her sophomore album No Boys Allowed. Miss Keri will reteam with director Colin Tilley, who previously helmed the visuals for “One Night Stand” featuring Chris Brown and “In the Air,” her collaboration with U.K. rapper Chipmunk.

Not a big fan of Lose Control, sounds like a sped up, redubbed version of Te Amo to me. I mean it’s the same producer but damn. She looks like lil kim circa 2002 in this pic to chill out on the make up or whateva the fuck tht is. Please say it aint bleach.

@RON its makeup her stylist puts too much on i doubt its bleach. If its bleach you would be able to tell. Her stylist just gives her too much makeup if you ask me but im lovin this chick.

@Tiffany she never said one night stand was her main single its just her urban single. Lose control is going to be her mainstream single. Just like she released breaking point for only urban radios and then released pretty girl rock. Her label is finally making the right moves.

ALL she needs now is to release toy soldier or all the boys after Lose control smashes in the summer. Pretty girl rock has been out for 6 months now since last september/october. If her label play their cards right lose control will smash all the way up until august then she ccould release toy solder or all the boys and close the era out with a bang.

It would be nice if she could close this era with a bang because i like this chick too. But honestly, i can’t see her reaching platinum, it would be great but what are the chances now? i can only see the album totalling 900k by the end of the year, that may be pushing it? she’s like at what??? 250-260k? what do you think? Oh and i heard ‘Pretty girl rock’ is platinum, is that true?

wow, she looks really bad in that picture LOL. Besides that, I’m pleased with the single choice. I love “Lose Control” and I can see it becoming a successful mainstream hit as well as urban hit. “All The Boys” should be the next single because I can see that crushing urban radio.

This song sounds exactly like Rude Boy, What’s My Name? and Te Amo by Rihanna, I don’t like it. That whole NBA album, sounded like leftoever tracks that Rihanna and Beyonce didn’t want, so Keri sound them and put them on her album.

I understand the similarities with Te Amo but thats because of the same producer. This sort of thing happens a lot and you generally find that both songs do well. But i prefer this to Te Amo anyday thanks.
Lose Control will get good results
