Pharrell Producing Gloria Estefan’s Album![]() Pharrell is spicing up his résumé. The Neptunes mega-producer has worked with everyone from Jay-Z to Gwen Stefani, and now he’s lending his hitmaking talents to Cuban-American superstar Gloria Estefan for her first English-language album since 2004’s Unwrapped. Pharrell will serve as co-writer and co-producer for the entirety of the project, due later this year. Estefan’s 11th studio LP has been described as “high energy” and “dance oriented,” akin to the sound of her 1998 release gloria! While we wait to hear the results of their international connection, check out Skateboard P’s return to hip-hop on the Daft Punk-sampled “The Game Has Changed.” TweetYou can leave a response, or trackback from your own site. 22 CommentsLeave a Reply

Pharrell is going where the talent and money is, smart man. That’s why it pays to be able to produce more than one type of sound (Lex Luger)

I love Ms. Estefan’s voice and couldn’t be happier to hear this news. I cannot wait to hear what they come up with. Just looking at her makes me smile especially after she survived that horrible bus crash back in the day.

Pharrell is a master in all what he does. We can feel that since “Baby I got your money”, “Wind it up”, “Rock your Body”, “Beautiful”, and working with the Queen of Pop, Madonna “Give it to me” a masterpiece!!
Gloria had a very good hits like “Conga”, “Dr.Beat”, “Rhythm is gonna get you”, but who wrote them was NOT Gloria, but Enrique KIKI Garcia, the mastermind behind Miami Sound Machine.
NOw she needs URGENTLY a refresh, and who else???
PHARRELL AND CHAD my brothers from the Neptunes.
Keep up the good work, and put Mrs. Estefan BACK ON THE DANCE FLOOR, she is good, she is brilliant, she is the best, PLEASE UPDATE HER!.
And by the way, please dont let Emilio get into the music. Just let him be the producer.
Ainhoa, MSM (with the girls), Carlos Ponce all of them have been comercial disasters, as well as Shalim, so please, be smart, have common sense.

This album will storm the charts and bring Gloria back to the fore of Latin pop music. @Humberto. Gloria actually co-wrote those hits with Enrique Garcia.. Such as “Rhythm is gonna get you” and “1-2-3″ which were some of her biggest hits. So with that talent in mind plus the cutting edge production from Pharrell who co-wrote the songs on this album with her this is going to be explosive!!
