Pharrell is spicing up his résumé. The Neptunes mega-producer has worked with everyone from Jay-Z to Gwen Stefani, and now he’s lending his hitmaking talents to Cuban-American superstar Gloria Estefan for her first English-language album since 2004’s Unwrapped. Pharrell will serve as co-writer and co-producer for the entirety of the project, due later this year.
Estefan’s 11th studio LP has been described as “high energy” and “dance oriented,” akin to the sound of her 1998 release gloria! While we wait to hear the results of their international connection, check out Skateboard P’s return to hip-hop on the Daft Punk-sampled “The Game Has Changed.”
