Rap-Up.com || Wiz Khalifa Rides High on Chart with ‘Rolling Papers’

Wiz Khalifa got high this week on the albums chart. The Pittsburgh rapper finishes in the runner-up spot with his Atlantic Records debut.

Rolling Papers, including the top 10 hits “Black and Yellow” and “No Sleep,” enters at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, selling 197,000 copies in its opening week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. “Thank u taylors,” tweeted the grateful Taylor Gang leader to his 1.5 million followers.

Despite his impressive first week, Wiz was no match for pop queen Britney Spears, who returns to her throne atop the chart with her sixth No. 1 album Femme Fatale, which moves 276,000 units.

Elsewhere, Chris Brown’s F.A.M.E. drops 1-4 (91,000) as Jennifer Hudson’s I Remember Me falls 2-7 (56,000). Snoop Dogg creeps into the No. 8 spot with Doggumentary (50,000), making it his 11th top 10 album. Gospel duo Mary Mary rounds out the top 10 with Something Big, lifting 42,000 copies.

why would u compare lupe and wiz? they both do it BIG..taylor gang is on the chart for da first time but he is doin big by being #2..of course aint no way he is gonna take britney out…but he huslte hard to be where he is now..thats his third album..lupe got a strong fan base and he is talented..despite his feud with the label, he got to the number one spot but Lupe got already 2 albums (the first one is a top ten album and second one went GOLD)..i love both of them but u gotta admit that Wiz Khalifa struggle to hit the chart and now he is on top

snoops album was betta dan wiz khalifas even tho der was filler in dat (wet, superman, boom, etc) but rolling papers was too mainstream 4 me.
