Wiz Khalifa got high this week on the albums chart. The Pittsburgh rapper finishes in the runner-up spot with his Atlantic Records debut.
Rolling Papers, including the top 10 hits “Black and Yellow” and “No Sleep,” enters at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, selling 197,000 copies in its opening week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. “Thank u taylors,” tweeted the grateful Taylor Gang leader to his 1.5 million followers.
Despite his impressive first week, Wiz was no match for pop queen Britney Spears, who returns to her throne atop the chart with her sixth No. 1 album Femme Fatale, which moves 276,000 units.
Elsewhere, Chris Brown’s F.A.M.E. drops 1-4 (91,000) as Jennifer Hudson’s I Remember Me falls 2-7 (56,000). Snoop Dogg creeps into the No. 8 spot with Doggumentary (50,000), making it his 11th top 10 album. Gospel duo Mary Mary rounds out the top 10 with Something Big, lifting 42,000 copies.Tweet
