New Music: Far East Movement f/ Bruno Mars – ‘Rocketeer’

Far East Movement and Bruno Mars

Far East Movement shoots for the stars with Bruno Mars on the demo of “Rocketeer.” The radio version of the group’s hit single features OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder and appears on their latest album Free Wired. Over a Euro-synthed instrumental courtesy of The Stereotypes and Bruno’s production team The Smeezingtons, the quartet raps about going on an intergalactic journey through space.

Does Bruno’s version rocket past Ryan’s? Listen below.

Far East Movement really should have let Bruno Mars sing the hook instead of Ryan Tedder. No offense to RT, but Bruno Mars sounds much much much better and like I can hear more passion and emotion. I’m sure this song would have been #1 on the charts had BM been in it.
