Rap-Up.com || Rye Rye Brings Sunshine to Coachella

Rye Rye got the party started in the desert. M.I.A.’s 20-year-old protégée lit up the Sahara stage at Coachella in a neon-colored top, cutoff shorts adorned with patches, and rainbow army boots as she dove into her lively set. She gave festivalgoers a taste of her debut album Go! Pop! Bang! by performing her single “Bang” and the M.I.A.-assisted “Sunshine.” Pharrell (“Shake, Twist, Drop”), Bangladesh, and Tyga have contributed to the project, due later this year.

This album will never get released I’m telling you. She said it was May just last week and now she announced at this performance it’s coming in June. It is an exact repeat of last year. Push back after push back. No reason is given. No one wants to wait this long for music from an artist. It’s so frustrating.

Rye Rye is SICK-NING!!!!! Her set at Coachella was super live! I was dancing and dancing!!!! AHHH! :) I LOVED IT!
