« Rihanna Breaks Chart Records with 10th No. 1 Single ‘S&M’Video: Beastie Boys – ‘Make Some Noise’ »Game Detained in Canada for 14 Days![]() Game’s 4/20 went up in smoke, but for the wrong reason. The “Red Nation” rapper was detained by Canadian officials after attempting to enter the country. Fresh from Australia, Game was traveling to Canada to perform at several shows on Wednesday, April 20. After waiting in customs for three hours, he was denied entry. “Customs officials just denied me entry into Canada. I’m sorry 2 ALL my fans but I was mislead by promoters & assured I would be able 2 enter,” he tweeted. But things soon went from bad to worse. “This just in: I’m being detained in Canada for 14 days until they process my inadmissability then I’ll have a hearing heard by a judge,” he added. “At that point the judge will decide to either deport me or give me a sentence for violating Canada’s immigrant entry laws.” Game expressed his unhappiness with the unexpected circumstances. “F%cked up situation !!! But at least they let me call home, & tweet before they lock a n!gga up !!! Gotta turn in my property, y’all be kool,” he wrote. “Gotta give up my phone & property. This some straight bullshit ! Flew all the way from LA to be denied and detained ?!?! WTF.” TweetYou can leave a response, or trackback from your own site. 25 CommentsLeave a Reply

Shouldn’t they just send him back? He clearly has work to do in the country for a specified time period so whats the issue?

The reason he was detained and denied entry was because of his criminal record. Anyone with a criminal record trying to enter Canada from a foreign country will be detained and/or sentenced and/or fined for violating Canadian Immigration & Customs laws. The same thing would happen to me if I left Canada and went down to the States.

@DennyQue
Gotta love Canadians and their ignorant logic. Much like your government. Fall for any bullshit they tell you. Anyway, I don’t know The Game’s full “criminal” history, but from my recollection he hasn’t done anything within the past 5 years. To constantly cruxify someone for incidents 5 years or even a decade or so makes no sense at all. And by the way, it’s interesting how I am constantly reading of the only celebrities being barred from entering foreign countries are black rappers. Hmm. Charlie Sheen got into Canada just fine a week ago with his drug abuse, domestic violence record. Oh, and lets not forget Kid Rock and his conviction last year for assaulting a patron in a restaurant. Interesting.

@Renee, the difference between Kid Rock, Charlie from Game is they got the proper documents processed and cleared so they are able to work in Canada.
This isn’t a race issue or a US vs Canada issue. It’s a business issue and Game didn’t get his business sorted out.

@Renee,
So by that logic all Americans are 600lb rednecks who shop at Walmart and watch Nascar. And look at your political state with all the Right Wing BS.

It’s his responsibility to get his papers straight. Had he done this, he would have been able to enter the country and perform. It’s not the Canadian Governments fault or the promoter.

All it would have taken was a short visit to a judge as long as any federal offense was not within the last 2 years 9 of 10 judges will gran a pardon and you are free to travel as you will. (i just went through it to join the military and again to go on tour over seas. good luck man.
Cheers
