K. Michelle shows off her piano-playing skills on the set of the video for “How Many Times,” the first single off her Jive Records debut Pain Medicine. Shot last week in downtown Los Angeles, the Benny Boom-directed clip sees R. Kelly’s protégé performing the Sean Garrett-penned tune with a string section, rocking blue highlights in her hair to match the vibrant piano. Go behind the scenes of the clip ahead of its premiere.

@youdontneedtoknow, I know right? When I saw her video and heard leaked tracks from her last summer I gave her a hard side-eye because she was styled too similarly to Keyshia AND her sound reminded me too much of Keyshia. But I do wish her well and if I hear more tracks will definitely support her.

Damn this video looks like its gonna be BIG. They usually dont give big budget videos for new artists but she is definately an exception.
