New Music: Kat DeLuna – ‘Drop It Low’

Kat DeLuna

Kat DeLuna gets down on the club-ready “Drop It Low,” a single off her sophomore U.S. album ViVa. With an electro-dipped beat, the upbeat banger sees the Latina songstress commanding the dance floor, flipping her instructions between English and Spanish. “Move your body baby bom bom bom/ When I shake it I’ma steal-a the show,” she muses. Strap on your dancing shoes and listen below.

I dont understand why kat isnt famous!! i mean she has some crazy stuff!!! and her music is AMAZING!!! i dont get why!!!

    [Reply]

    Um.Well.Sure. Reply:

@jayden, She’s not famous because she hasn’t found her signature sound. She keeps bouncing all over the place musically and it’s confusing her audience. The only song I actually like from her was that Whine Up song she made years ago. Also, what happened to Nikki Flores?

  19. For the haters :)

Listen you nasty haters Kat is awesome! Who are you guys to be demanding for her to stop trying she’s obviously doing something right if world wide famous producers don’t give up on her! People like the ones that are talking bad about Kat here are the type that get mad when ppl are reaching success internationally not just here but across the sea! This beautiful Dominican songstress is amazing and good at what she does no matter what kinda music and sound she uses! She does it better then many that claim they own a sound or a genre! Kat is great and this girl is gonna explode ppl already love her in so many countrys. Just here In north America a country full of envy and judgement under estimate her! Kat is like soccer! Only the smart ones love her in US and everyone else around the world loves her! Kat deluna I’m from Boston don’t let these nasty piece of caca haters stop you! Your unstoppable and this song is crazyyyyy hottttt

The song is allright but it won’t be liked by the mass.. And that is what she wants.

I like Kat DeLuna’s work in her first album moreso than her second.

And is Jennifer Lopez’s people going to own up to the On the Floor/Party O’Clock stuff or what? No. Guess it doesn’t matter when you take from a “smaller” artist.

Her voice is fucking AMAZING! I’m glad she’s back! but this song? I’m just not feeling it, might grow on me. She needs a ballad to show off her beautiful voice. Her best song is/was “love me, leave me”
