Rap-Up.com || Kelly Rowland: ‘I Am Ready to Be Boo’d Up’

Kelly Rowland snuggled up to her pal Jermaine Dupri at New York City nightclub Greenhouse on Wednesday, but don’t jump to any conclusions. The Destiny’s Child diva is still very single, but ready to mingle.

During a recent visit to Hot 97, the “Motivation” singer said she is looking for love. “I am ready to be boo’d up. I like romance,” she told Angie Martinez.

But despite her quest for love, she’s playing hard to get. “I’m a flirt. I’ll get somewhere and we’ll flirt in a heartbeat, and if you slide me your number I’ll probably just look at it,” she laughed. “He probably gon’ be frustrated.”

She admits that her sexy Lil Wayne-assisted single did encourage one fella to approach her recently. “That was a nice conversation. It was real sexy,” she said, teasing, “We’ll see what happens.”

Kelly’s as-yet-untitled third album is confirmed for a September release. It will feature contributions from Rico Love, Jim Jonsin, Salaam Remi, and more.

Whoever said Kelly isnt beautiful because her skin is brown is delirous and probably looks like wendy williams: the early years. A H.A.M. Kelly is one of the most beautiful women in the world, her skin, the smile, the teeth, the stance. She has class. Insecure Beyonce fans are funny seeing asif “Motivation” is about six million times better than “Girls who Dump in the Toilet”. Beyonce is talented but she is limited in that talent, repetative, stale and boring. She is also pretty, but in my opinion doesent hold a candle to Kelly.

What i will say construtivley to Kelly and her team if you read this is that this is utterly ridiculous. You need a hit prior to you releasing this album in order for Universal to feel the album is viable. In my opinion, you should go to the markets that sell and whereby you do well. In Europe, lots of things sell that dont sell in the States. There is a huge market for Kelly there. This album should be released for Europe only. The truth is that it isnt viable to release in the States. “Commander” was released, and flopped. “Rose Coloured Glassed” was released and flopped. “Grown Woman” was serviced to radio and did not get addded enough. “Motivation” doesent recieve much airplay either but is starting to take off. I will neglect to mention the mess that was “forever and a day” which even flopped in foreign territories. IF YOUR listening at Universal, release this album in Europe prior to any intrest being eradicated because you said the album would be out in Septermber 2010 and we are a year down the line and there is no album. Kelly will say the same old “i wasnt ready” “the songs werent ready” but there is NO market for Kelly in the states.

@Misty Jean, Tbh, I don’t think that people are really checking that much for R&B, real R&B anymore. They want the generic pop/psuedo-electronic music now. Some R&B artists are having success, but imo, the genre is struggling.
