Rap-Up.com || New Music: David Guetta f/ Flo Rida & Nicki Minaj

David Guetta officially debuts his single “Where Them Girls At” featuring Flo Rida and Nicki Minaj on iTunes. The final edit is slightly different than the previously leaked version, with new vocals from Nicki at the end and a slightly altered beat. The dance floor-ready jam serves as the lead single from the French DJ’s fifth studio album, due later this summer. In addition to the aforementioned artists, the LP also features Taio Cruz, Ludacris, will.i.am, Akon, and some surprise guests. Listen to the final version below.

@King Chris, the original is not better if you listen to flo-ridas verse it slows the track down and he sounds horrible, with the final version the beat stays the same which makes you dance throughout his verse which ultimately makes the song cohesive,THIS IS A DANCE TRACK no one wants to look around at each othere on the dance floor. nicki minajs veerse could have stayed the same so it didnt matter i love the vocals on the end, so if it want for flo-rida it could have stayed the same!

@KICKDATHOEPUNT, I agree with the fact that Flo Rida kind of brought it down. At one point I even said he could have stayed home and let Nicki handle this one but I prefer the beat changes and production on the leak. This is too constant all the way through for me, in comparison, not to mention all I can hear when I listen to this one is S&M.

maybe i’m hearing it differently (idk) but.. i like this version better than the leaked one. i’m not too fond of flo rida though.. :/ i just like the dance beat and Nicki’s part. it’s cute. *shrug* if i can dance to it and feel good listening to it then i like it.

Go Nicki, btw. it’s real nice to see Nicki branch off into different genres of music. especially pop, since i grew up listening to pop as well as rap, hip hop and r&b.. just about everything. There’s nothing wrong with NOT being tuned to one genre. Variety is fun.

I’m a Nicki stan & I think her verse is @$$. I can’t lie, some of her features lately have been ok @ best. I actually dig the singing parts though. Def a summer song though… Can’t wait to hear her, Wayne & Drizzy collab, as well as, her Beyonce Collabo & then I hope she lay-low on some features for a while & bring me that “Super Bass” already. Can’t wait 4 the tour to pop-off 2! Especially if she does her own & I’m ready for a 2nd album to drop soon.

Cant lie, I see what nicki is doing, but I like the Rapping Nicki with some singing. Not too much of this bubble gum pop dance track stuff too much.

I want her to do some hard core rap which can influence other genres kind of like lil wayne, kanye, and eminem does. I actually think she’ll be more successful that way.
Im starting to classify her with the beyonces and rihannas and thats not good. Shes a rapper. Lil wayne or drake is not classified as chris brown and david guetta. They rap with some pop influence. Dont get me wrong I love her versatility but she still does not need to stray to far from what gave her fans in the first place. So do these pop tracks and hop back over and embrace what got her started. You dont want to get too waterdowned, playful, and microwavable. Her career wont last long. She needs to focus on longevity.
