Rap-Up.com || Nicole Scherzinger to Host ‘The X Factor’

Nicole Scherzinger has a new gig. After months of speculation, the former Pussycat Doll has been announced as one of the hosts for the U.S. edition of Simon Cowell’s “X Factor.”

The 32-year-old singer will divide her time between music and hosting the singing competition, reports The Hollywood Reporter. Cowell’s reality show is set to air in September on Fox, but Scherzinger will be present for the auditions when they kick off Sunday in Los Angeles.

The multi-platinum artist recently released her solo debut Killer Love in the U.K. and is prepping the U.S. release for this summer, which will include the first single “Right There” featuring 50 Cent.

Joining Scherzinger as co-host is Steve Jones, a U.K. television personality who’s hosted British programs including the “T4 Music” series and BBC One’s quiz show “As Seen on TV.”

Former Island Def Jam CEO Antonio “L.A” Reid and British songstress Cheryl Cole will join Cowell on the judges’ panel, with a fourth to be announced soon.

I guess this means we should expect one or two of the following judges from the UK X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent to join the USA X Factor’s judging panel as well:
Dannii Minogue, Louis Walsh, Amanda Holden, Michael Mcintyre

Come on, her career is not exactly taking off.
Maybe in the UK and Slovakia but outside there’s not much going on for her.

She’s very talented and the promotion of her being on a weekly talent show should do wonders for her.

Not to mention the doors it will open, all it takes is one performance on such a big show and you have a hit single and album right there.

Congrats to Nicole.

Im so disappointed because Nicole will not judge the US X Factor, her album Killer Love will be huge in the US she has a lot of good songs,an amazing singer and dancer…cheryl didn’t deserve to be a judge :(
