Rap-Up.com || New Music: Lil’ Mo – ‘Big Sister’ (Missy Elliott Tribute)

Lil’ Mo shows love to her “Big Sister” Missy Elliott on a cut from her new mixtape P.S. I Love You, a prelude to her upcoming album P.S. I Love Me. Borrowing a page from Kanye West’s Jay-Z tribute “Big Brother,” Mo shares her admiration and appreciation for the hip-hop vet, who took her under her wing.

“Eleven years down the line I won’t stray, ’cause had it not been for you, there’s no me,” sings Mo, while quoting lyrics from Missy’s hits including “Hot Boyz” and “The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly).”

Download the rest of Mo’s mixtape featuring her takes on Lil Wayne’s “6 Foot 7 Foot” and Jeremih and 50 Cent’s “Down on Me.”
