Lauryn Hill has been playing shows across the country, but she made a rare appearance on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” to perform during the show’s week-long tribute to Bob Marley. Ms. Hill, who is married and has five children with Marley’s son Rohan, sang her late father-in-law’s classics “Chances Are” and “Could You Be Loved.” Watch her colorful comeback below.

She did a great performance, nice to see her on TV again. Just to remind you, the media are making her out to be a egotistic diva. Is that the woman you saw on stage? I sure didn’t.

I love her jewellery, Melody Ehsani is the jewellery designer for her current tour. She has a beautiful face and looks so young if she could only have a stylist.

@Fugee-La, Just reminding people that the press talk shit, and this is the real Ms Lauryn Hill, she is humble and sweet. Hope to see more performances from her this summer, maybe even a BET Awards set :D

I kind of like her outfit….it looks so bob marley-sque…
but generally speaking, even if sometimes she looks little “overdressed”, she still looks nice to me! :)

haven’t even watched the performance yet, though have seen and commented on J.Hud’s “No Woman No Cry” and Rihanna’s “Redemption Song”, and must say if anyone is to tribute Bob Marley w/ justice, it’s Lauryn (even thou RiRi is West Indian). Lauryn Hill is all about gangsta and love and politics and religion like Bob Marley was. With that said, I am now ready to watch her performance.

@lost1wons,
Pregnant for the 6th time, thats serious ovary hustling, i love her but she needs to stop with the babies and focus on her career by releasing new material. Who is her gynocologist, why are allowing this she seriously needs to stop this is too much for me to comprehend.

@selwyn,
You don’t need to comprehend it, you’re not taking care of her children. Has she ever asked you for anything? I love it when people try to tell others how to live their lives. She’ll release new music when she wants to.

@YouStop!, amen. That’s one of the reasons why she stopped making music is because fans don’t understand that although she has a career she is still a human being. if she wants to have babies thats fine. whenever she drops an album its gonna slay everything in the industry

Her voice is choppy. The performance was terrible and eventhough she’s pregnant (for the 6th time) she looks manic as if she’s on some sort of party drugs. 40% F

She looks manic to you because she is not wearing a slut attire.

@naj,
You sound incredibly stupid, just couldn’t say you didn’t like it because she sounded choppy. You had to add some unnecessary, ignorant BS. People like you thrive on negativity.

good to see her on “The Machine” again, or in other words the televison. She is warming back up to pop culture. Really though she needs to do a televised indepth interview one day, that would really be fascinating, it always is with the greats. I would prefer to see something like a day in the life of……..type of thing. Too bad Oprah is leaving, would of been nice to see those two chit chat.

while this is better than some of her other recent performances, i feel like her voice still needs to be taken better care of. you can hear the difference of how she sounded back in the day, when the label really pressured her to take care of her voice. not sure why she insists on performing other peoples songs but i hope she is working on a new album, its been too long & it would be really dope to see lauryn back on top of the charts.
