Omarion steps to the front lines of love in the video for “Battle,” his collabo with Red Cafe off his newly released mixtape The Awakening. Dressed in white military garb, the R&B commander hypnotizes a young lady with his moves, taking his seat in a throne while Red Cafe stops by to deliver his rhymes.

I love the song, but the chorus reminds me of the Jordin Sparks song “Battlefield” (why does love always feel like a battlefield?); however, the actual song lyrics stand on their own – good song. I really dig new direction that Omarion is taking. Luke Skywalker with Method Man is off the chain, and if he can keep up this energy, I’m sure he could make a comeback. Good shit Omarion!!!!
