Behind the Video: Jason Derulo – ‘Don’t Wanna Go Home’
Jason Derulo takes viewers behind the scenes of his video for “Don’t Wanna Go Home,” the lead single from his sophomore album Future History, due later this summer. The smooth operator shows off his fancy footwork inside an industrial warehouse, reclining on a couch with scantily-clad women as liquor bottles litter the floor.
“The inspiration behind ‘Don’t Wanna Go Home’ was simply all the pain, all the turmoil going on around the world, I wanted to write a song that was a pick-me-up,” Jason told MTV’s “The Seven.” “I wanted to make a song that would allow people to escape whatever they were going through.”

Well thats different, Michael Jackson is the King of Pop.
Secondly, Most of DeRulo’s popularity was garnered pre-BET awards incident/Yeah 3x Chris Brown and pre-OMG/comeback of Usher.
He just makes catchy radio singles, which is evident in why his album sales are so low, and out of three top pop singles, his album didn’t even make it in the top ten.
