Rap-Up.com || Album Cover: Beyoncé

It’s all about B. Beyoncé unveils the sexy artwork for her fourth solo album 4, arriving June 28. In the striking image, she gazes out into the distance with arms raised over her head, covering her body with only a fur vest and gold accessories.

The title has significant meaning to the singer. “We all have special numbers in our lives, and 4 is that for me,” she told Billboard. “It’s the day I was born. My mother’s birthday, and a lot of my friends’ birthdays, are on the fourth; April 4 is my wedding date.”

The project, described as a “mixed musical gumbo,” was recorded in the span of a year starting in spring 2009. It is preceded by the Major Lazer-sampled single “Run the World (Girls).”

I Don’t like the Album cover that much because of the way she kinda reminds me of Britney Spears but she reminds me of a Female version of Michael Jackson the way she started out in a R&B group and how she went solo and started experimenting in Pop but she still hasn’t gave up her roots, watch the album have good R&B too, and how people are saying she’s trying to be white like they did with MJ hmmm, how she’s a talented dancer, and got more of a Pop voice like MJ.

I can’t believe that the release date is almost just a month away. This era is already moving kinda fast. I’m looking forward to hearing what the rest of the material will sound like. “Run The World” has already grown on me immensly. I like how she described the sound of it and how she is taking a risk with it; which she REALLY IS. I will always support her. Real artists aren’t afraid to try something different and Beyonce has never been afraid to step outside the box. I remember when she released “B’Day” and how much criticism that got from the R&B world. To this day it’s still my favorite Beyonce album. It was so damn funky and FUN.

Does anyone see this cover being a little “trashy”? I thought she was all about class. Hell, being sexy can still be classy, but not this trashy.
