Beyoncé starts a dance revolution with her much-anticipated video for “Run the World (Girls),” the empowering first single from her fourth solo album 4, dropping June 28. Pop’s commander-in-chief leads an army of over 200 dancers in the heavily-choreographed visuals directed by Francis Lawrence (Lady Gaga, Gwen Stefani), featuring a menagerie of wild animals, outrageous fashion, and epic dance sequences.

@meme, She just incorporated the Irish River Dance and some added choreography, adding to her “originality” that will be praised. She can do so much better. The song is the epitome of crap and the sample has been used plenty of times before with better results. I’m still waiting on that iconic album.

I love the african twist to the dancing and i feel the video lifted the song.
But, if somebody has a different opinion, we cant start calling them a HATER. Thats just too easy people. Some dances work for some people. sometimes the mainstream don’t like certain styles of dance. For me the dancing was EPIC and the camara angles were giving me LIFE!!!

Well done Bey. I hope you give credit to God Almighly when you pick up your awards because i’ll be watching, iam serious. There was one questionable moment in the vid with the girl laying on what looked like a cross. I hope iam wrong because i’ll leave you just like i lefted gaga. Real Talk.

I personally love it! It’s so different than anything I’ve seen from Beyonce. The choreography was really different for her. I was surprised by some of the dance choices, but I get it. I love how artistic the video is. It kind of evolves as the video progresses. Oh and the dances near the middle of the video wow! NOw that’s Beyonce! lol And love the part when she’s in the sand.

Don’t know why people aren’t liking the song cause I love the song. The video is amazing too

However, the battle concept for the video overpowered the actual song which caused a disconnect!!! The song to me was weak in the first place, so to have a epic video with a mediocre song at the least (that’s putting politely), there was a conflict between song and video make less enjoyable!!!

This is one of the Best Video’s (if not the best) video released thus far this year! Hot Choreography, Hot Fashion, and lots of fierceness. There are problems with the video that kept it from that incredible status, but thats mainly due to the way the video was shot and directed. Crazy In Love, and Single Ladies are better. But Run The World (girls) is comes in right behind them! Bee about to take ovAH!

I see she’s gradually lightening her skin, to look more caucasian.
First off the video was a combination of all of her videos. She copied these moves from two of the main dancers that began the video, of course they say she got permission this time, normally she just steals what she wants and calls it her own. She still crawling around on the ground like a House of Dereon slut. Then there’s this Rhianna, Lady GaGa thing she’s got going on, which in my opinion, only works for GaGa and yep Rhianna, or some younger artist. She’s trying too hard and desperate to stay relevant. This song is nothing but adolescent in it’s content, as we know she wants to try and target the ladies with this so-called anthem, andit’s just not working. At this stage in the game, when does class and maturity come into play. We all know she’s well over 29 years old, so this child-like music and played out performances is soon going to die down. The song sucks, the video sucks, she sucks and that’s how she keeps getting record deals and movie roles, because she does suck, literally, big execs, dicks to stay relevant. last time i checked beyonce was a woman not a girl.. the message behind the song is lame. it sounds like a rookie song…and she’s wayyy passed that level. plus anyone that knows their house music knows this beat is soo 2 years ago. been there done that.

she should be singing songs that show her vocal talent. i know she wants to be different, but being different would be sticking to what she knows..not being like every other artist and trying to make shitty club bangers.
