Rap-Up.com || Report: Beyoncé, Britney Spears to Perform at Billboard Music Awards

Just when you thought the lineup for the Billboard Music Awards couldn’t get any bigger, two pop megastars are scheduled to ignite the stage. Beyoncé and Britney Spears will reportedly perform at this weekend’s show.

Sasha Fierce will not only be the recipient of the Millennium Award at Sunday’s ceremony, but viewers will be treated to the first televised performance of her new single “Run the World (Girls).” She performed the song for the first time at Oprah’s farewell show taping earlier in the week. Promos for the awards have been touting her appearance as one that “will leave American talking.”

Her fellow diva Britney Spears will also take the stage, according to Us Weekly. Their sources claim that Brit will join Rihanna for their remix to “S&M,” and appear alongside her “Femme Fatale” tourmate Nicki Minaj for the remix to “Till the World Ends,” also featuring Ke$ha.

While no official announcement has been made, Billboard tweeted, “loving rumors re @britneyspears playing Billboard Music Awds. Better watch Sun 8 PM ABC. Lets say there’ll be surprises.”

Other performers on the bill include Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Lopez, Black Eyed Peas, Cee Lo Green, Pitbull, and Lil Wayne with Mary J. Blige. The 2011 Billboard Music Awards will air live on Sunday at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.

i can appreciate britney and beyonce both as artist and what they have accomplished and the fact of the matter is they both are great and britney’s one album “baby one more time” has out sold beyonce’s whole career as a solo artist and britney went diamond two times with her outstanding sales with that album.

some people always thinks that telling the truth is hating. Is Britney a good performer? NOOOOOOOO!!!! If she was she would be recognized for THAT!!!! A lot of people will agree. How can you be electrifying and lipsyncing draggig yourself up and down a stage with your dancers doing all the work.

Is rihanna a good performer. Worst of the bunch, A fan can admit to that there is no denying. Can’t sing or dance, get breathless and shifts the mic right to left hand ten times in one song line.

How is this hating?????? The truth.
Beyonce will sing her ass off and has the best breath control delivering perfect vocals LIVE. Will dance just as good as her female and male dancers if not better, not missing a step and synchronizing perfectly well. When she is too good to be true, sad people try to find faults in her.

I honestly hope that Britney performing is true, she hasn’t performed on an award show since 2007. If she does perform, she will absolutely kill it and i guarantee she’ll make every other performance unmemorable. Britney has something that most artists strive for and that’s stage presence, Brit could stand in the same place an entire performance lip synching and it’s still worth watching.

I was just thinking why is Beyonce always ask to open a show and sometimes honored to perform 2 to 3 times a night.example the oscars and Grammys. Only artist to ever do that. I want to see Britney perform just to see if she’s got her act together because lately she’s been a mess live. Ya’ll sure as hell weren’t on iTunes. Also, #FAIL at the heffas up there who think numbers equal talent.
