Rap-Up.com has your first look at the official poster for Beats Rhymes & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest, the much-talked-about documentary on the groundbreaking hip-hop group. Director Michael Rapaport spent time traveling with Q-Tip, Phife Dawg, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, and Jarobi White in 2008, and gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at the pioneers’ journey and contributions, with rarely heard stories from Native Tongues members including Monie Love, the Jungle Brothers, Busta Rhymes, and De La Soul.
The film opens July 8 in New York and Los Angeles, with showings throughout the summer. Find out when it’s playing in a city near you.
