Dr. Dre stars in yet another commercial. This time, the West Coast rap icon gets behind the wheel of a 2012 Chrysler 300S featuring Beats by Dr. Dre technology. “Some people say good things come to those who wait. Truth is, good things come to those who work,” states the bold ad, which will air this Sunday during Game 3 of the NBA Finals on ABC.
The 60-second spot, directed by Mark Romanek, shows Dre driving through his hometown as one of his beats bumps in the background. “This is L.A. This is what we do,” he says.
His protégé Eminem previously appeared in a similar ad for Chrysler, which aired during the Super Bowl.
