Rap-Up.com || Exclusive: Kelly Rowland’s Album Gets Release Date

After a few false starts, Kelly Rowland is finally ready to release her album. The singer’s oft-delayed project is coming sooner than you think.

The Destiny’s Child diva has settled on a July 26 release date for her third solo album Here I Am, Universal Motown exclusively confirms to Rap-Up.com. The new date comes as her Lil Wayne-assisted single “Motivation” continues to soar, hitting No. 1 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

The album features contributions from Rico Love, Tricky Stewart, Dr. Luke, Stargate, Salaam Remi, Jim Jonsin, RedOne, Ester Dean, and more. Kelly was recently announced as a judge for Britain’s “X Factor,” which is currently taping in London.

Just support even if you don’t like Motivation I am sure they will be so many great songs on the album. Don’t blame on music industry when the top 10 albums on billboard charts are filled with pop or country albums.

Everything we’ve heard from the project is killer. Motivation, Commander, On & On, Grown Woman, Forever And A Day, Each Other, Rose Colored Glasses. I just hope it’s a hefty album with at least 14 tracks. I still want some new material!

I know she talked about making this a REAL album experience, with interludes and transitions. I miss the days that Janet Jackson would put together an album like this. It always feels more substantial.

Can’t wait for HERE I AM!

I Love all Destiny’s child women, i have al their solo albums (even Michelle’s gospel ones) as a fan i’m worried about this, it’s too premature, the album shoulda come out a while ago to coincide with Motivation’s chart rise otherwise they need another monster single to convince the skeptics

I’m thinking….there’s another month to go. She will either perform Motivation live at the BET awards and or release another hot song… She hasn’t promoted Motivation and truth be told…she didn’t need to. It’s at number one without it. BUT to keep it there….she better put it in! She’s had to cancel certain appearances because of X Factor…I just hope that it doesn’t interfere too much with her album promo. I have always loved Kelly. I feel like she’s finally getting to where she needs to be.

All you haters shut the hell up! Kelly has always been talented she just had to play second best to Beyonce because Destiny’s Child was the vehicle for Beyonce to shine – the group was never designed for any of the girls to do well except Beyonce. I am so happy for Kelly – it’s her time and I will be buying her cd. Beyonce is a selfish, self centered bitch and she never gave a damn about Kelly, La Toya, La Tovia or Michelle. She would only want to know that she wouldn’t be shit without those girls. And if she wasn’t so busy being half naked and throwing her twat all over the stage – she wouldn’t be as big as she is. And so far as the album “4″ is concerned – pa-lease, I’ve heard “4″ songs so far, three of them joints is garbage & the other one is okay. None of them can touch Motivation. Of course the album will do well cause Beyonce’s die hard fans will buy it. But then again, J.Lo has die hard fans too and her album – uh what is it doin on the charts.
