Mary J. Blige delivers an SOS on the empowering ballad “Hero.” “This is for all the young ladies out there who may need a hero. Sometimes we have to save ourselves,” preaches the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, who encourages women to be their own savior and get out of an abusive relationship before it’s too late.
MJB is prepping her new album My Life II: The Journey Continues for a September 20 release and has also penned the theme song for the upcoming film The Help.
