It’s hard to believe that it’s already been a decade since Alicia Keys made her debut with songs in A minor. To celebrate, the R&B songbird is releasing 10th anniversary editions of her groundbreaking album to stores on June 28, and will perform an intimate concert on June 30 at New York City’s Beacon Theatre. “Piano & I: A One Night Only Event With Alicia Keys” will star just Keys and a piano as she takes fans on a journey through her debut and performs other classics plus a few new tunes.

“I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of songs in A minor than by holding a special, intimate concert for my fans,” she said. “Performing is the most extraordinary way for an artist to connect with their fans, and I’m thrilled to put on a great show at the Beacon Theatre to help thank everyone who has supported me throughout the years.”

My 15 year old daughter would find this the best treat of almost her whole life! My girl is a singer-songwriter at age 15, and Alicia Keys is one of her heros. She’s be inspired beyond belief! She also lost her dad recently to sudden death and has a disease. So, what a treat for her. Thanks!

I love Alicia and have since she first debuted. I would love the chance to see her perform. I’ve met her once before in 2004 at her book signing for her poetry book and it was truly one of the highlights of my life thus far.
