Ten years after releasing her breakthrough debut songs in A minor, a stunning Alicia Keys returned to the BET Awards stage as a wife and mother. During her surprise-filled set, the Grammy-winning songstress, dressed in Dolce & Gabbana, performed the previously unreleased “Typewriter,” dueted with Bruno Mars on “A Woman’s Worth,” and brought out Rick Ross for a soulful spin on “Maybach Music.”

They killed this “typewriter” “woman’s worth.” To my haters, and everyone elese who like to post negatives comments. “When you judge me you don’t define me, but you define yourself.”

Wow! Alicia is always in that zone when performing. She is amazing! Loved everything about this performance, especially the opening song (“Typewritter”) and the singing on the piano. Only one little thing–would have loved for Alicia’s performance to have been longer. :-) She is an extremely special lady.

I think I’m the one Bey stan that LOVES AK. She rarely disappoints. And when she does it is because she doesn’t sing my favorite song How Come You Don’t Call Me Anymore. lol

I love AKeys – another great performance. Last year her voice sounded strained, overworked & tired so the time off definitely did her good.

Best performance of the night! Alicia Keys was amazing, and Bruno Mars totally killed it. It is so refreshing to see 2 natural talents on stage at the same time, singing in harmony and sounding exceptionally wonderful without the help of autotunes or technology. Love Alicia Keys and Bruno Mars. They deserve attention and recognition for their singing abilities more than other pop acts out there like Justin Bieber, Kesha, Rihanna, or Katy Perry.
