It’s Kelly Rowland’s time to shine. Armed with a No. 1 single (“Motivation”), rave reviews from her BET Awards performance, and a judging gig on Britain’s “X Factor,” the R&B chanteuse is moving full steam ahead with her third solo album Here I Am, due July 26.

The 10-track standard edition features her Lil Wayne-assisted smash and follow-up “Lay It on Me” with Big Sean, plus the dance floor anthem “Commander” and “All of the Night” featuring Rico Love. Four additional songs appear on the deluxe, including remixes to “Motivation” and “Commander.”

I’m happy to see that “Commander” made the album. I hope they release this song as an official single in the U.S. It has so much potential. It’s a shame that “Forever & A Day” wasn’t included but I understand why “Rose Colored Glasses” and “Grown @$$ Woman” were passed on as both songs flopped at radio.

I’d like to add that only 10 songs on the album seems kind of cheap…

She should have just made “Forever In A Day” #11 and “Grown Woman” #12….those were two underrated great tracks that I’m sure ppl slept on! Putting them on the album would introduce them to new audiences….Glad she left off “Smooches” tho…

Disappointed to see that there is essentially only 12 tracks to album. With all of the song leaks that she had, you would expect to see just a couple more added but whatever, still can’t wait to listen.

I wish there were like 2-3 new tracks but oh well, I know it will still be hot. On Wikipedia(which I know isn’t 100% reliable), they have some song titles she recorded and there was one called “King of Kings” produced by David Guetta which real or fake, I would LOVE TO HEAR IT. I’m glad she kept “Commander” on there though because even though the song is over a year old, I bet there are a lot of people who haven’t heard it yet who might cop the album.

NO “GERONIMO”!! Well that proves my theory right all along, which is that chris should’ve kept that song to himself and released it on one of those many mixtapes instead of giving it away. That was a good song and we won’t get to hear it now. Musicians should find more ways to get more songs on albums instead of letting them sit in the computer uselessly.
