Swizz Beatz Throws an ‘International Party’ in Pricey Video [Preview]![]() It’s showtime! Swizz Beatz unites the world with his rhythm in the blockbuster video for “International Party,” created for Reebok’s “Reethym of Lite” campaign. The super-producer mixes art, fashion, choreography, and lasers in the clip, which reportedly cost over a million dollars. Alicia Keys lends her vocals to the dance floor anthem and will appear alongside her husband in the final video. “First of all this is not a music video—I thought I was coming to a music video—but this is a big movie,” said Swizz. “Everyday that I’m in this, I’m making history, pushing the envelope. The sky is not the limit.” Director Chris Robinson added, “The song is called ‘International Party.’ It’s about connecting all the continents on the planet on the world stage.” Get a behind-the-scenes look at the international affair before its debut later this month.

no video is worth a milli in this day and age! what a waste! ineffective marketing strategy. not to diminish swizz’ accomplishments, but this is unnecessary. if the song is not a hit…

@listen, Well, the song is in conjunction with a Reebok campaign. So it’s not for his sole project alone. There’s a marketing strategy here.

@listen, Usually I would agree, but the thing is, this isn’t just a Swizz Beatz music video, this is Reebok’s marketing campaign with Swizz as their creative director. So a multimillion dollar corporation spending $1 mill on an ad campaign isn’t really unheard of.

Yeah, this is a marketing campaign so i dont mind that it cost alot. Plus, Reebok HAD to do something fresh and youthful because they seem to be a dated brand. So it was important to re-brand themself with Swizz and create a buzz. After seeing swizz with the hats/trainers, i wanna buy the stuff because it looks fresh and 2011.
Congrats Swizz!
