« T.I. Tells Fans ‘I’ll See You in September’Nicole Scherzinger Gets AMP’d at Universal CityWalk [Video] »Lupe Fiasco: ‘I’m Quitting Twitter’![]() Lupe Fiasco may have sent out his last tweet today. The “Show Goes On” rapper claims he’s done using the social networking website.
“i’m quitting twitter. it was fun while it lasted,” Lupe told his fans on Wednesday. “thanks for the support on #lasers and i will see you all on the road soon… don’t forget…Love Always Shines Everytime Remember 2 Smile….” He turned over his account to singer-songwriter Nikki Jean, who was featured on his single “Hip-Hop Saved My Life.” She immediately began promoting her album and changed out the background to her album art. “Big thank you to @LupeFiasco for supporting my record. He won’t be gone for too long.. Promise ;-)” she wrote, leaving the door open to his return. Lupe is not the first artist to leave Twitter. Kid Cudi and Cassie are among those who deleted their accounts, only to start new pages months later. TweetYou can leave a response, or trackback from your own site. 22 CommentsLeave a Reply

@Dave, you fell for his pseudo-intellectual BS? I swear people will believe anything from celebrities as long as they use a few multi-syllable words and have a “rebel” image. Wake up! The whole industry fake.

@ME, The industry is fake. May you give me some example of his pseudo – intellectual ? It would be very appreciated if you could…
I admit that Lupe terribly worded his words with that Obama and terrorist thing. He thinks that voting is unnecessarily, but it really is necessarily or else WE THE PEOPLE are to blame for being the terrorist since we wouldn’t be nothing. But yeah can you give me some of his quotes or such with pseudo – intellectual?

He’ll be back, just like the rest of em. Someone get him a copy of “tweeting for dummies” in the meantime. He need to think before he speaks or tweets. God bless him. SMH

@NikkiIsChillin, Well you can’t really change a human being’s mind so easily. So I don’t think the book will help :p. Lupe Fiasco is gonna speak his mind out for a while now, so I hope your neck won’t be sore from shaking you head X D!

He certainly won’t be missed. Incidentally, his music is lousy.

@Robert, Really? You make really lousy assumption. Every artist got his fans and not be miss? Somebody will always miss an artist. I know you probably meant “I will certainly won’t be missed.” Can’t really say anything about your opinion on his music. But I just wanted to fix your grammar error.

@Nitsud, I also wanted to fix my grammar failure. You really meant to say “I certainlly will not miss Lupe Fiasco.” Instead of assuming everybody will not miss him.
