I love it when Melanie does reggae flavored songs like this. “Somebody Come Get Me” is still one of my favorite songs by her. What the hell is going on with her second album??? It was supposed to drop earlier this year and since then I have heard absolutely nothing about it. I’ve been waiting forever it seems. COME ONNNNNNN.

This song was clearly written by Andrea martin who is west indian. She had an album. Love her work. check her out she is a great songwriter who wrote. “Before you walk out of my life” for Monica back in 1995. Their tones are similar that’s why we enjoy Melanie and Angie stone. Because of Andrea. sad to say.

A really amazing record from Melanie who has such a great voice! I agree with Kyle about really loving when she does raggae flavored songs like this cause she sounds so great on them! Can’t wait for the mixtape & her new album!
