Rap-Up.com || Single Cover: Rihanna

Just in time for summer, Rihanna lets the top down and goes for a ride on the cover of “Cheers (Drink to That),” the next single from her platinum album LOUD. The celebratory anthem was produced by The Runners and samples Avril Lavigne’s “I’m With You.” The Barbados beauty just wrapped the U.S. leg of her tour and is expected to release a repackaging of her album this fall.

@Spankey, First time i heard this song i thought “big hit!” then s&m came out as a single and i thought it was a poor choice (bad judgement on my part) but cheers can be played at sports games and country bars, good choice for diversity

@DiM0′LiTi0N, Ckb was only a flop in America due to lack of radio support. Its been in the region of no25-35 on US iTunes for months.

A shame about Man Down though. Really loved that song but it was an urban-only single anyway.

Not really a fan of Cheers but oh well…

I like Cheers but I love Raining Men….she should have released “Man Down” and “Raining Men”, insteed of “Cali King Bed” and “Cheers”…I’m not a fan of her music at all but I can most def rock with Raining Men and I absolutely love “Man Down”

Apparently everyone on this cite is delusion… botth singles charted above the top 50 on the us hot 100! Man Down was a good single for the Urban Radio, I would have released cheers instead of CKB. CKB is a good song but was not promoted enough. Rihanna needs to perform at the VMA’s to showcase cheers bc I dnt think she is making a video for it. My fav on the album is fading, I believe that could go #1 in the US
