Chris Brown pours his heart out on “Open Road (I Love Her),” which may appear on his next album Fortune. The piano ballad features tin whistles reminiscent of the Titanic theme song as the R&B crooner sings about his regrets over a past relationship. “And I feel so bad ’cause you wouldn’t do the same to me, but I know what your weakness is,” he laments.

“If the whole song doesn’t leak then it’s going on fortune!” wrote Chris. “I have so many songs that I’ve recorded in my opinion that are siiiccccckkkk! I just really hope people appreciate the diversity on Fortune!”

@Andy, FAME has barely sold a total of 800K WW therefore it isn’t platinum. Like @peaches said, it has yet to cross the 700K mark in the US. Don’t be mad that someone is stating the facts. You will deal. There are artists who’s released an album last year and are still higher than him on the top200 on the BB. WHich means they’re selling more. He went from a multi-platinum artist to barely pushing gold.

@xedos, I don’t think they ever had the proper closure they needed to move on and were and probably more than likely, are still very much in love with each other. Possibly would have never broken up in the first place. It is a tragic love story. Having him suddenly yanked out of her life in addition to all the negative press surrounding that time I honestly believe has effected her in a major way that reflects in the way she behaves.
Both of them need to mature A LOT before they even entertain the thought of taking that step again. They need to first learn to keep their hands at their sides. I loved them together and would like to see them prove the world wrong one day.

This is beautiful! His vocals, the melody, the piano everything! He is truly at his best when he sings songs like this!

He is kinda teasing us like when he released the snippet of ‘Up To You’ early this year. I only hope it doesnt leak cause a lot of his ish has been leaking lately.

I love that he is experimenting with different sounds. He has been doing that a lot lately especially on his ‘Graffiti’ album, but I just hope that with this ‘Fortune’ album it all comes together and he he delivers a truly a timeless album.

Not bad considering he hasn’t promoted a lick overseas and is mostly a state-side R&B/Pop artist. He’s having a great comeback year. And just because his album isn’t platinum, doesn’t mean he is not successful. Get real. Look how far he has come.

If this is the kinda songs he’s got for his next album, then it’ll be a classic! F.A.M.E. was a transitional period of him coming back into the good graces of the mainstream. With the right singles, features, and promotion, I think Fortune will have the potential to go platinum!
