@mon, you’re saying that like he hasn’t earned it, and most of his arrogance is stated jokingly. Did you even listen to the interview? He was laughing it up and joking the whole time.

@JUSTIN, you can buy those artists music and support them instead of complaining about others. Beyonce and Jay took certain steps in their careers and released certain songs to catapult them to be on top, thats why they are.

Them fighting about the tour doesn’t surprise. Kanye is over the top in every way possible. Jay always wins out with me because he’s likable, has a good deal intelligence, and isn’t up his own ass.

Gotta go with Kanye on this one, Jay has a deal with Live Nation and is using Kanye to pay it back.
Kanye is trying to take stage shows to the next level, that is dope as fuck.
I’m sure they will compromise with some of Kanye’s huge shows in a few choice cities and a stripped down version for the rest of the tour.

@TDOT, Jay has and can tour on his own. If Kanye can’t keep it down, he is also ale to do a tour on his own. They don’t need each other

On his film partnership with Will Smith: “We did a co-venture between Overbrook and Roc Nation.”
. . . . . . …So that is how Willow got signed to Roc Nation, her Dad did a deal w his movie company! I get it.
On signing his Roc Nation artists including J. Cole, Jay Electronica, and Bridget Kelly: “If you gon’ come sign to Roc Nation, just realize that it’s gon’ take a second. I’m into artists, I’m not really into putting a single out.”
. . . . . If that is true then why did Willow Smith release 2 singles?

Love Jigga!!! & I love listening to his interviews…especially the “Hot 97″ ones with Angie Mar bc she’s one of few interviewers that can get him to let his guard down publicly. And that’s probably bc they’ve known each other for so long. Some people might use the word “cocky” or “arrogant” to describe him, but I see Jay as “confident” and he’s always been that way. But at the same time, he’s humble too. You can be both. Long before he was anybody he knew he was gonna be somebody & he’s worked hard to get where he is after coming from practically nothing. And it’s like, if you don’t believe you’re the best at what you do or what you want to do, who else will? And most Nycers, especially dudes from Brooklyn that I’ve met, have the same attitude. Love BK guys. They’re known to be awesome. I mean, what woman wouldn’t want & love a man that is smart, funny, cool, and about his m’effin’ business. I see ya Bey! Get it Jay. Haaaa!

@Rita, i feel you about Jay Z, it’s easy to say he’s arrogannt or cocky, but truth is, this guy is intelligent…And like most nerdy guys, Jay Z included, aint no getting over them except to say they’re not humble or down to earth. That’s just the poor mans way to knock on him..cuz aint nuthin you can say to stop his flow PERIOD………………………………………………………………………………..But I need for som1 to explain what Jay meant about the xmas card thing, the not so great things?

@Winston Churchill, You want him to go the Young Money route? Have a hot single, then the album is completely inconsistent in theme, sound, etc? He’s more into artist development. Berry Gordy did the same at Motown.

@V, Rihanna is already an established artist that is simply being managed by Roc Nation. J. Cole is a new signee. It will take time for him to get to that Rihanna level, if he’s even meant to be there. Some people aren’t, no matter how talented they are. It’s sad but true.
