Rap-Up.com || Kelly Rowland Motivates Kids for School

Kelly Rowland put on her cap and gown and marched down to Union Square in New York City to help motivate students during the Boys & Girls Club back-to-school season kick-off event. Earlier in the day, the 30-year-old singer appeared on the “Today” show to speak about her involvement with the organization, her new album Here I Am, and deal with Sean John.

Kelly shared that she was able to carve out her own niche with her latest solo project, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200. “For this album, I didn’t want to put myself in a box,” she told hosts Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford. “I just really felt on this record, it was a defining moment for me in the studio.”

In other exciting news, the Destiny’s Child alum has been named spokeswoman for Sean “Diddy” Combs’ new female fragrance Sean John Empress. “It just really celebrates a woman being unique and powerful and beautiful in her own right, and celebrating all our idiosyncrasies,” she explained.

@THEreal., She’s opened a clinic in NY that she annually gives 1 million dollars . She donates to Tyra Banks’ charity for teens . She recorded a work out song called “Move Your Body” & has attended 2 schools dancing with them in heels . In Middle School they dance to thee song as exercise .

I have sad this time and time again but no one listens. I know people who do promo for artist and it takes a lot of set up months before hand. People forget Kelly was not supposed to release this album till Sept! In june with the success she was having they pumped it up to July. In that short of time it is not entirely possible to reschedule and plan events in time for the Promo she may have wanted. The main thing was to get it out while she was hot…

wtf, within the first minute of the interview the hosts started to talk about her single and her music, and she changed the subject to these kids. Kelly aint on Earth for music.
