Rap-Up.com || Lady Gaga Mans Up on ‘Yoü and I’ Single Cover

Dude looks like a lady on the cover of “Yoü and I,” the fourth single off Lady Gaga’s chart-topping album Born This Way. The pop provocateur transforms into her male alter-ego Jo Calderone—who bears a striking resemblance to Bob Dylan—puffing on a cigarette in the black-and-white artwork. Gaga makes a pretty convincing dude, don’t you think?

…and you know why? Because she can invoke people to come look at her news EVEN when they don’t like her. Pretty powerful if you ask me. If you don’t like her music don’t listen. I love the cover, at first I didn’t think You and I should have been a single, it’s definitely a great song, but I think Heavy Metal Lover, Electric Chapel, Bloody Mary, The Queen, Marry the Night or Scheibe are better single choices IMHO. And do people always have to bring up Beyonce on a Lady Gaga post? They both have a great deal of respect for each and have both said they are each other’s only competition which is true. Yes, Beyonce has been in the industry for 14 years and has accomplished a lot, but now Gaga is the top female in the industry and she’ll be around for decades just like Beyonce will be as well.
