Hip-hop heads counted down the minutes to the release of Watch the Throne on Sunday night. If you’re like us, Jay-Z and Kanye West had you up till the early morning listening to their much-anticipated album, while trying not to wake the neighbors.
Now that the heavily-guarded project has made its way onto your iPod, we want to know your favorite song. Is it the Beyoncé-assisted “Lift Off,” either of Frank Ocean’s stellar contributions (“No Church in the Wild” and “Made in America”), or did Kanye and Jay’s sentimental verses to their unborn sons on “New Day” touch you most?
@Drew, I agree. Not a bad song, but it sounds a bit messy. It’s just because it features Beyonce and this site is chock full of biased fans. If they had a track with Rihanna it would be just as high.
@Summer Time, i actually enjoy lift off because beat is crazy, but i felt like jay z’s part was extra short he only had like 3 bars in the dam song, but kanye killed it with his rapping and autotune singing. one of my other favorite songs is no church in the wild with frank ocean.
@Summer Time, I’m a stan & Lift Off sounds perfect to me – Not only becuz of Beyonce’s part . It’s thee stupid idiots like you that don’t understand that it’s Kanye & Hov’s song .
Let me say something,Lift Off 8/10 No Church in the wild is 8and Half/10 but are they saying they do or dnt believe in go but the one is New Day 10/10 that is a emotional song Quote “I Will never let my son have an ego/he will be nice where ever we go
