Rap-Up.com || Lil Wayne Plays It Cool in ‘Tha Carter IV’ Promo Photos

Lil Wayne spreads peace, love, and rock ‘n’ roll in a new series of photos to promote his ninth studio album Tha Carter IV. A tatted Mr. Carter lets his braids down, peering out from behind shades as he shows off his rockstar style in one of the new images shot by photographer Nabil.

He will perform at the VMAs on August 28 and release his next single “She Will” featuring Drake before the album drops on August 29.

Ok so i see people like comparing Watch The Throne to Carter IV… Heres what i think as a neutral Hip Hop fan

The production on WTT is spectacular, Kanye and his producers really got some of the nicest beats i have heard in a while… but with great beats artists have to deliver lyrically… Kanye did so in most of the songs but Jay Z just didnt impress me he could have done a lot better… on a rapping and lyrical stand point i find WTT was quite good at most

Carter IV will have some of the best producers on there and judging by the three singles “6 Foot 7 Foot” “John (If I Die Today)” and “How To Love” the album will be quite diverse and unique, the main difference is wayne is lyrically at his best, hes really spitting fire something Jay and Kanye failed to do on some songs not all but a few songs !!!

To Me Carter IV will outsell and outdo Watch The Throne.. Just My Opinion

@alex, No way Wayne is lyrically at his best. That was Dedication 2 through shortly after Carter III. Sorry 4 the Wait was good but not GREAT, and Wayne is no longer close to the best rapper alive, he said that himself. The album will no doubt be good and do well commercially, but I don’t think it will be amazing. Wayne is past his prime, but with that said, is still good and will put out a good album in CIV

And to be fair, WTT is an LP, CIV is a full fledge album. So a comparison isn’t entirely fair. Just saying.

I’m with u. I think it’ll be a solid album. I think “She Will” will be huge for him & Drake… it’ll be a good follow-up to “How To Love”. I don’t find him attractive, but these are nice photos.

Weezy needs 2 go back 2 the photo shoot & tell the photographer the artwork is “washed up & secretly homo” . Album cover & artwork. = TRASH. Hope it is solid or decent like C3 better than WTT but musically not as good as R.E.D. C4 will outsell both LP’s tho.
