Rap-Up.com || Video: Jay-Z & Kanye West

All hail king “Otis.” Jay-Z and Kanye West get the adrenaline pumping in the video for the Otis Redding-sampled single from their hot-selling album Watch the Throne, which is expected to move over 500,000 copies in its first week.

Directed by Spike Jonze (Where the Wild Things Are), the feel-good visuals show a lesser-seen side of the hip-hop heavyweights, laughing and having a blast as they chop up a Maybach (don’t worry, they’re donating proceeds to charity), set off fireworks, and go for a joy ride with some fine females. Comedian Aziz Ansari even joins the fun. We want in.

I Am so impressed (not surprised) BOTH MY FAV RAPPERS ! Omg this album is such a masterpiece ! This album was everything I expected it to be like omg .

Um….it was cute. Mostly the two of them just goofing around & having fun. Like someone said earlier this is the first time I have seen Jay smile & actually look like he has a personality.

The car was dope too. Other than that, nothing really happened.

Jay really needs to keep his camel looking ass out of the camera though.

It almost looks as if they speeded up the verses when recording the video, so that they could add this slowmotion-effect when the original speed was played for the final cut.
It was a fun, simple but solid video. They did it.

@theREAL., I don’t agree with you. If anything, these two men have to live up to people’s expectations. Just because a music video is simple, does not make it lame. They didn’t try too hard… And it turned out to have some nice visuals.
It’s not a mindblowing music video, but it’s definitely better than some of this other nonsense that I’ve seen lately.

I don’t really like this song or the video. I find it funny that when their rapping about supermodels they have white women and when their rapping about hoes they have black women it’s just not right and maybe it wasn’t intentionally.
If a Jay Z video had women in it (which all of them did) they were always black. So just because to collabarate with Kanye West does not mean you have to change your ways.
Not only the song I didn’t really like the album. Jay Z has albums 10 times better than
this and so does Kanye. I don’t think that they put as much work as they should’ve into it.
