Rap-Up.com || Kanye West Jams with Prince at Swedish Festival [Video]

Rap royalty met pop royalty overseas in Gothenburg, Sweden. During his headlining set at the Way Out West festival over the weekend, Prince jammed with none other than Kanye West.

“Everybody put your hands in the sky right now. Say hell yeah!” chanted ‘Ye as he rocked the mic while the Purple One and the New Power Generation performed “If I Was Your Girlfriend,” bringing audience members onstage.

Prince has been joined by many superstar guests at his recent shows including Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys, Chaka Khan, and Mary J. Blige.

Shall we say DOPE!

I was expecting a Knaye semi-set or something, but it’s still all good because Prince really doesn’t do Hip Hop…good to see an exception ;)

Prince DOES do hip-hop collabos. He’s jammed with Slug from Atmosphere plenty of times in Mpls. And he’s jammed with The Roots before.

Kanye & Prince is a bad combo, though….I don’t know why but I’m not feelin it. Prince & Mos Def, Common or even Drake would be better. Kanye’s too full of ego & nonsense these days. I really can’t stand him.
