Rap-Up.com || Trey Songz Announces New Album Title

Trey Songz is embarking on a new chapter in his career. The R&B heartthrob has announced a title for his fifth album.

“I’m working on a new album entitled Chapter 5,” Songz told Glamazons of the follow-up to last year’s Passion, Pain & Pleasure.

The singer’s publicist confirmed the title to Rap-Up.com. But despite initial plans for a 2011 release, the project is now slated to arrive next year.

He hopes to get inspiration from his upcoming trip to Africa. “I’m going to South Africa and I’m elated about it,” he added. “I’m taking my mother and family. That trip will be very instrumental in what this next album will be.”

Songz is venturing into other arenas in the meantime. He will star in the horror flick The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D and has been tapped as the face of Rocawear’s men’s fragrance Evolution.

Bey went to different types of places most people just go to the US if from Europe or Europe if from the US. Plus what arist gives us the downlow on the album? @Roc Nation, As far as I can recall, Alanis Morissette, Christina Aguilera and Madonna have all traveled to other places in the world to get inspiration for records. Alanis traveled to India and recorded a song called “Thank U” with the lyrics “THANK YOU, INDIA…” in it. This was even long before Beyonce’s first #1 hit in Destiny’s Child. So, um…????
