Rap-Up.com || Nicki Minaj and Rihanna to Preview ‘Fly’ Video During VMA Pre-Show

Nicki Minaj’s long-awaited video for “Fly” is finally about to take off. After a series of delays, MTV will premiere a sneak peek of the Pink Friday clip co-starring Rihanna during the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards pre-show.

The Sanaa Hamri-directed visuals were filmed in January, but held so Nicki could release “Super Bass” as a single off her debut. “The Rihanna video is a freakin’ epic movie,” she previously told MTV News, adding to E! Online, “We’re going to save the world in more ways than one with the video.”

An official premiere date for the full video has yet to be announced. Get a first look when the VMA pre-show airs live on Sunday, August 28, at 8 p.m. EST, hosted by Selena Gomez.

Now that Super bass has reached its Pinnacle world wide. Its time to release another video to keep it going. Wat’s wrong with her releasing singles? I would keep releasing singles until they fizz out if I were her. Singles make money to you know. Also the label wouldn’t keep budgeting videos if Nicki isn’t bringing in profits.

Also it gives her more weight when she tours to have successful singles on her resume that ppl are familiar with to perform.
